Books of Sorrow
Destiny is a first person adventure shooter video game developed by Bungie, Inc. Within the game is a large amount of lore, which fleshes out the universe the game takes place in. A chunk of that lore is called “The Books of Sorrow”, which I found particularly compelling. At that time there was no printed version of this lore. Wanting something physical to page through, I typeset the lore into an elegant and easy to read format. I then sourced hand-made paper from Etsy seller White Dragon Paper, leather, sinew, and hardware to hand-bind them all together.
There are two copies — one is now with the writing team at Bungie (sent as congratulations for the launch of Destiny 2) while its sister copy is with me.
